The Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowler is an American electronic warfare and attack aircraft that first flew in 1968, serving the naval air force's requirement for jamming and electronic countermeasure capability. Powered by two engines, it achieved 1,048.2 kilometers per hour with an 18.2-meter fuselage designed for maximal sensor installation. The four-crew configuration allowed dedicated electronic warfare specialists to manage complex countermeasure systems.
