The 1946 Yakovlev Yak-18 training aircraft carried two crew with single engine, 10.6-metre wingspan, and 8.3-metre fuselage. Its 300 km/h speed and 700-kilometre range made it a capable post-war trainer. The Yak-18 became a primary Soviet trainer for many years.
