The 1931 Tupolev ANT-14 was a five-engine Soviet passenger transport and propaganda aircraft crewed by three with enormous 40.4-metre wingspan and 26.5-metre fuselage. Achieving 236 km/h and 900-kilometre range, it carried many passengers and served prestigious routes. The ANT-14 exemplified Soviet technical ambition through aviation.
