The Turkish Aeronautical Association's THK-11 emerged in 1947 as a two-seat cabin monoplane with single engine, 11.8-metre wingspan, and 8.4-metre fuselage. Its 201 km/h speed and 800-kilometre range served Turkish civilian aviation. The THK-11 represented Turkish capability in light aircraft design.
