The 1927 Travel Air Model 4000 was a single-seat general aviation monoplane with 10.1-metre wingspan and single engine. Reaching 196.3 km/h from a 7.3-metre fuselage, it served personal and training flying markets. The Model 4000 represented Travel Air's diverse general aviation product line during the prosperous mid-1920s boom.
