The Siemens-Schuckert DDr.I represents an experimental triplane fighter configuration from Germany, which first flew in 1917. Measuring 5.8 meters long with a 10.9-meter wingspan and twin engines, this aircraft pursued the triplane fighter concept explored by several nations during World War I. The three-wing design promised superior maneuverability and climb performance despite increased structural complexity and drag.
