The Piaggio P.148 was an Italian two-seat primary and aerobatic trainer that first flew in 1951, designed for pilot development and advanced maneuver training. With an 11.1-meter wingspan, 8.4-meter fuselage, and 234 kilometers per hour maximum speed, it provided economical training suited to Italian air force requirements. The robust construction and forgiving handling encouraged student development. Its practical design made it attractive for large-scale pilot training programs.
