Heinkel HD 20

A specialised civilian aircraft from 1926, the HD 20 served photographic survey and mapping missions across Germany. Its three-seat configuration accommodated pilot, observer, and dedicated camera operator, while twin engines provided reliability for long sorties over challenging terrain. At 9.4 metres long, it represented a practical solution for systematic aerial photography and cartography projects.
