Una habilitación de vuelo por instrumentos (IR) permite volar entre nubes y con baja visibilidad solo con instrumentos: esencial para el vuelo serio de travesía y requisito previo de cualquier carrera en aerolínea. Aviatr lista 20 ATO aprobadas por EASA en Netherlands que ofrecen formación IR(A) mono y multimotor, incluida la vía basada en competencias (CB-IR). Compara las escuelas según el acceso a simulador, la flota multimotor y la experiencia de los instructores.

Coste típico

Una habilitación de vuelo por instrumentos cuesta normalmente 8.000–20.000 € según sea mono o multimotor y cuánto tiempo de simulador aprobado sustituya horas de avión. La CB-IR puede ser más barata para pilotos con experiencia IFR previa.

Duración

La mayoría de los alumnos completa la IR en 2–4 meses. Cuenta con unas 40–55 horas de instrucción por instrumentos, parte de las cuales pueden volarse en un simulador FNPT II aprobado, más teoría y una prueba práctica.
