The Convair YB-60 of 1952 was an experimental eight-engine strategic bomber exploring unconventional powerplant arrangements. At an impressive 52.1 meters with 62.8-meter wingspan and accommodating five crew, it represented ambitious but ultimately unsuccessful alternative to the B-47 and B-52.
