Expanding on the original Gulfstream concept, the Gulfstream II achieved jet-age performance with twin turbofan engines. The 24.4-meter fuselage and 23.7-meter wingspan created spacious interiors, while the two-pilot crew managed advanced avionics. The 1966 introduction established the jet-powered business aircraft category.
