The Tupolev Tu-22M strategic bomber and maritime strike aircraft evolved from the Tu-22 with a crew of four, twin engines, 34.3-metre wingspan, and 42.5-metre fuselage. Reaching 1997 km/h, it represents a significant performance jump and remains operational in the 21st century. The Tu-22M proved exceptionally durable.
