The Armstrong Whitworth F.K.3, produced under the Koolhoven banner, was a general-purpose and trainer aircraft introduced in 1915. Its two-seat layout, 140 km/h cruise speed, and 12.2-meter wingspan established characteristics common to European training aircraft of the Great War era. The single-engine reliability made it popular with flight schools.
