A basic German training aircraft from 1928, the S 2 represented simple functional design for primary flight instruction. With an 8.1-meter fuselage and 12-meter wingspan, its single engine powered the aircraft to a gentle 135 km/h. The two-crew configuration allowed instructor oversight, making it ideal for introducing pilots to powered flight.
