Building on the E.I's revolutionary concept, the E.II improved performance to 140 km/h through engine refinements. Its 7.2-meter fuselage and 9.7-meter wingspan maintained compact proportions while the synchronized armament remained its distinguishing feature. This variant served German fighter squadrons throughout 1915.
