The 1934 Tupolev SB fast bomber carried a crew of three with twin engines, 20.3-metre wingspan, and 12.6-metre fuselage. Its 450 km/h speed and 2300-kilometre range made it among the world's faster bombers of the 1930s. The SB proved so capable that many nations operated captured or licensed examples.
