The Dornier Do 28 first flew in 1959 and represents the evolution of STOL utility aircraft design. Twin engines provided 325 km/h cruise and exceptional 2,950-kilometer range. The 15.6-meter wingspan enabled takeoff and landing from short, unprepared surfaces worldwide.
